The theme for this year’s quilt show challenge is “roots”, and at least one tumbling block must be included. Finished project is about 30” square: hand-pieced with EPP and machine quilted. It illustrates the first four cube numbers (1, 8, 27, 64) and their cube roots (1, 2, 3, 4).

I like this theme, thanks. Last year’s theme was “travel posters” and before that “favorite movie”.
