I made the first one in 2019 (second photo). I prefer the fabrics and the colors of it, but not the quilting pattern I used. This time, i don’t like the fabrics as much, but the quilting is better. I outlined areas using the longarm, and then use a decorative stitch on my domestic machine to fill in some spaces.

On the APQS machine to outline per yellow lines. Thought I’d then bring it home for quilting the sections with my domestic machine. Now that it’s home I’m not certain I’m up for the challenge, wish I’d just done wavy, almost horizontal, lines through the entire quilt top. Still a work in progress…
